The different color variations have a few other requirements too, so I'll just post this link that shows all appearances/colors and when you hover over each it'll say how to unlock.This overview covers the basics of the Brewmaster Monk artifact weapon, Fu Zan, the Wanderer's Companion. You can also unlock all of its other appearances and colors except for the Mage Tower one, the second is from finishing order hall campaign, third is from a questline that has you do a bunch of things in Mythic Legion dungeons and the raids Emerald Nightmare and Nighthold, fourth is from raising your PvP honor level, and the last or the "hidden" appearance is from doing a special/secret requirement which for Brewmaster is picking an order hall talent that puts a keg in the order hall that you can click on once each day for various consumables and a chance for the hidden appearance to drop (this comes down to luck). Absolutely, you just need to be at least level 98 so you can start the Legion intro and class hall leading into getting your artifact (which you pick Brewmaster of course).
